This is just a super duper quick post to inform everyone that I am participating in the #BoutOfBooks readathon. Here’s the official blurb:
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 22nd and runs through Sunday, August 28th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 17 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team
Since I’m already reading, I might as well participate, right? Of course!
(Update: I’ve decided to add to this post to also include my reading updates for the week. That way I don’t end up with five billion #BoutOfBooks posts. I saw that Riley had created a single post on her blog, and I just fell in love with genius simplicity of it. Thanks for the idea, Riley!)
DAY 1
Monday: I read 84 pages of Fangirl! I can totally see why so many of you say that Cath and Levi are your OTP. I’m beginning to ship it myself.
Today’s challenge was book-to-movie adaptations. Come find out what my favorite and least favorite bookish movies are here.
Day 2
Tuesday: I read 10 pages of Fangirl. Not much, but I had a dentist appointment. One chapter is better than nothing!
Today’s challenge was Mix ‘n Match sentence making. My sentence makes absolutely no sense, but you can find it here.
Day 3
Wednesday: I, um. Didn’t read anything. Hashtag adulting.
Day 4
Thursday: I read 30 pages of Fangirl.
Day 5
Friday: Today I read 46 pages of Fangirl, organized and packed about a quarter of my room, and caught up on the #BoutOfBooks challenges that I missed!
Day 6
Saturday: I got 36 more pages of Fangirl under my belt. You guys, adulting takes so much of my time!
Day 7
Sunday: I only stayed up all night long, but I finished Fangirl!
I hope you’re loving Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. I feel like I’m the only person on the planet who hasn’t read this YA novel yet!! Have a great time reading this weekend!!

Fangirl is amazing! I’m glad you liked it! I didn’t participate in Bout of Books this time, even though it looked like fun- I was already doing #ReadThemAllThon and honestly just feeling a little overwhelmed.

I did #ReadThemAllThon too, but I really loved the idea of the Bout of Books challenges, so I couldn’t help but join in!

Hahaha I wanted to, but I started to feel overwhelmed by all the Readathons, so I cooled it down a bit.
