  1. Congrats on reading 79 books this year, that is incredible, seems like you had a great reading year. Fantasy was my most read genre as well, that usually always is. I am ashamed to say that I have not read any V. E. Schwab book, which is terrible. It is made worse by the fact I have met the author and own every single one of her books, all signed. HOW COULD I NOT HAVE READ THEM YET!?!?! Gah, definitely need to do that asap.

I didn’t enjoy Red Queen either, felt that book was so overhyped and felt like a copy of so many other fantasy books. I also still need to read the Miss Peregrine’s series. I hope you’re loving Crooked Kingdom, such a great series ender.

I hope you have a wonderful reading year in 2017! Feel free to check out my survey answers here.

  2. YAY for reading Cinder!! I was the same way– stubborn about trying it, but it pleasantly surprised me too!! Also, I can’t believe you went a whole year without reading a book by a previous author (besides the HP script)! That’s actually really cool. It means you discovered so many NEW ones 🙂

    1. I realized about a week after posting this that I did read ONE other previous author. Pearson, who wrote Kingdom Keepers, was a co-author for Peter and the Starcatchers. His name is listed second so I didn’t even think about it.
